Men's GymnasiumIt was built between 1844 and 1859 by architect K. B. Geidenreikh. The gymnasium located opposite to the Traveling Palace repeats the traits of its composition as if in a mirror.
Traveling PalaceThis is a historic architectural ensemble. It was built on the territory of the Kremlin of Tver. Construction of the palace was started in 1738 and was completed in 1778 by architects P. R. Nikitin, P. I. Obukhov and M. F. Kazakov. It was rebuilt by architect K. I. Rossi in 1809.
Governor's HouseThis is one of the most interesting ensembles of civil architecture of Tver built in the middle of the 1760s. At the turn of the 19th – 20th centuries, the ensemble was partially renovated according to the project of architect A. P. Fedorov.
Building of the Gentlemen's AssemblyThis is a monument of architecture built in 1842 by architect I. F. Lvov in the style of late classicism. Here Garrison House of Officers is situated.
Ensemble of the Fountain SquareThis is the most perfect example of the city-building art of early classicism. The project for construction of the square (the overall composition was developed by P. R. Nikitin and the facades were developed by M. F. Kazakov) was approved by Catherine II in 1767. The ensemble was completed by 1785.
Post HouseThe most important ensemble in the structure of the three-beam layout of Tver, its core being the Post House. The ensemble was built according to the project of P. R. Nikitin in 1769 in the transitional style from baroque to classicism. Here one could find House of Science and Technology, State Drinking House, House of People's Creative Work.
Radishcheva Boulevard, 41/30This is a building in empire style built by K. I. Rossi between 1810 and 1820. This is the best monument of housing architecture of that time preserved in the city.
Stepana Razina EmbankmentThe integral and harmonious architectural ensemble decorated Tver in the period of regular development (1767) and was completed and rebuilt in the next decades. Development of the embankment is associated with the names of prominent architects Matvey Kazakov and Karl Rossi.
Diocesan Women's SchoolThis is one of the few buildings of the late period of eclectics in the style of late classicism. It was built between 1896 and 1898 according to the project of architect V. I. Nazarin. Here one can find Children's Regional Clinical Hospital now.
Vaganovs' EstateIt was built between the 1780s and 1790s in early classicism style remade in the opulent forms of eclectics.
Shopping ArcadeIt was built between the 1760s and 1770s according to the project of architect P. I. Obukhov. By now the major part of this prominent masterpiece of architecture has been lost but a fairly big fragment of the side building of the shopping arcade remains still. Now - Tver Drama Theater.
School Named after P. P. MaksimovichThis is one of the most important ensembles of educational buildings in Tver that reflects two periods in development of architecture of the second half of the ХIХ century – beginning of the ХХ century: eclectics and neoclassicism. It was built according to the project of I. V. Skrutkovsky. Now Tver State University is here.
Galyani HotelThis is one of the most remarkable stone buildings of Tver in classicism style built between 1803 and 1805. The building has a big memorial importance. A. S. Pushkin stayed in the hotel frequently. F. M. Dostoevsky lived in it for a few months in 1859. At the beginning of the 1990s, restoration of the building based on the drawing of the main façade of 1858 was done according to the project of architect G. P. Lebedeva. Now - Tveruniversalbank.
Arefyevs' HouseThe building is considered one of the most significant monuments of civil architecture. This is the only residential house in baroque style built during the regular development in 1768. Now - Tver Everyday Life Museum.
